When braking abruptly, the front wheel can lock up, skid off to the side, or lift the rear wheel off the ground. With the TRP/Blubrake anti-lock braking system, the ST5 regulates the power of the front wheel for controlled braking on slippery surfaces along with roll over protection when the brakes are fully applied to keep traction on the tires and the rider safely in control.
