EVO stands for TRP’s Evolution in performance for the highest levels of functionality – whether racing downhill or safely handling heavy loads on E-Bikes.
The DHR EVO was originally designed for downhill racing and handling the rigors of heavy E-MTB riding. After extensive magazine tests, racing successes and positive reviews in the 2020 season, TRP has upgraded its three top models with these EVO features thus implementing this new standard of performance.
All brakes have 4-piston High-Flow calipers designed to pair with the new 2.3 mm brake disc standard. Improved performance, more consistency and less brake fade.

Trail EVO

For E-MTB touring riders who are looking for stability and reliability. From the outside it differs by its brake lever design, but from the inside it is on the same level of performance as the DHR EVO. A 10 mm lever piston provides easier modulation for control over long descents.


Slate EVO

With the SLATE EVO comes EVO performance and e-bike solution features to the entry-level price range. The solid SLATE design has received all EVO features like 2.3 mm brake calipers, which offer a significant increase in performance and the ability to accept rotors up to 223 mm diameter.
